CAP: COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM 2022-2023
OUTREACH SERVICE COMMITMENT
Mission Statement:
The Community Action Program of Penn-Trafford High School (CAP) serves area communities by assisting individuals and service organizations in their outreach efforts.
Thank you for joining CAP! Your willingness to help others speaks highly of your character. As a CAP member, you will be responsible for signing up at least 3 service projects but you may sign-up for as many projects as you choose. These requirements must be fulfilled in order for you to receive credit for being a member of CAP and to remain in good standing. Read the project descriptions before deciding on a project. You will be able to sign-up for projects online by utilizing Google Forms with links on the website. Once you receive the email with your instructions, don’t wait - projects fill up quickly! You may not sign up another student. All CAP members are expected to participate in the fall and spring outreach projects (donate an item to the Veterans Drive, donate a toy for the Toys for Tots Drive and 5 cans of food for the Spring Food Drive). If you selected the Big Buddy Program on your signup we will be emailing you a link to the commitment form on September 30th. Commitment forms will need to be signed by Friday, October 7th as we will begin makings student assignments.
